I LOVE BEING PART OF THE THERAPEUTIC PROCESS.

Seeing change happen before my eyes is magical. It lights me up inside to hear stories from clients about their life-changing “a-ha!” moments!

Mission and Philosophy

My mission is to empower you to learn and understand ways that you can channel your energy to increase self-awareness, happiness, and productivity. Through evidence-based practices and a strength-based, compassionate approach, you will develop tools for the future that will help you make real and lasting change.

Therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach. Your story is unique and requires attention to the details that are important to you.  Together, we will create goals that allow YOU to be in the driver’s seat. Topics and priorities for your sessions will be guided by you and what your goals are for treatment. My job in our work together is to assist you in learning more about yourself and feel as comfortable as possible during sessions, be it in the office or by Telehealth.

When I'm not in the therapist chair...

…you can find me being a wife and mom to my human child and my dog child. I also love spending time with my family (I have a big one so this happens often) and friends, laughing until my gut hurts, traveling, trips to Target, (delete extra space here) and baking. I was born and raised in St. Louis, but I’m not telling you where I went to high school. I am the third generation in my family to be born and raised here, and I love most things about it: the Cardinals, Italian food, Mr. Wizard’s Frozen Custard, and yes, even the weather.

After college, I moved across the world because I felt adrift and directionless. While living abroad and continuing my graduate studies at WashU, I discovered my passion for helping others. This is truly my dream job and I am grateful to do this work everyday.

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver and completed my Master of Social Work degree at Washington University in St. Louis in 2011. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings across the St. Louis area including leading teen groups at an intensive outpatient treatment facility and doing community-based and in-home family therapy with clients in crisis.
